Set of 2 turned barrels for the ZB 37 machine gun (Aber, 1:48)

This accessory is not a kit but a set of two accurately turned metal barrels from the Polish manufacturer Aber for models of the tanks of the Pz.35(t) and Pz.38(t) series in 1:48 scale. The metal barrels replace the plastic moldings and make the fine details of the machine gun armament more accurate.

What it is for

The ZB 37 machine gun (the heavy machine gun vz. 37) of Czechoslovak design served as secondary armament on the 35(t) and 38(t) tanks used by the Wehrmacht. Thin metal barrels look markedly finer and more robust than plastic in a small scale.

Use

  • Cut the plastic barrels off following the instructions of the base model.
  • Glue the metal parts on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Work with the small parts over a mat, so that they do not get lost.

Who it is for

  • Builders of light tanks of the 35(t)/38(t) series in 1:48.
  • Modelers with an emphasis on fine machine gun armament.
  • More experienced modelers used to small parts.

This is a detail accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
