Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Czechoslovak Aero C.4/C.104 training biplane in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS Models. It is a short-run model - the parts tend to be precise but call for more careful cleaning up and building than mainstream kits. The box contains clear parts and, depending on the boxing, is usually completed by small photo-etch for the instrument panel and the rigging points. Check the exact contents and the number of markings against the particular package.
The Aero C.4 and C.104 were Czechoslovak license-built versions of the German Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann training biplane. During the war they were made at the Aero works as the C.4 (with a Hirth engine) and after the war as the C.104 with the Czechoslovak Walter Minor 4-III engine. It was a popular tandem two-seat primary trainer on which many postwar pilots learned to fly, and some examples survive to this day as sport aircraft.
On a short-run model, first clean the parts up and dry-fit them. Finish the cockpits before you join the fuselage. Glue the struts and spars precisely so that the biplane keeps its geometry. Make the rigging between the wings from drawn thread only after the finish is on. Spray the covering with an airbrush over a primer; seat the decals on a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories beyond the contents of the box are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
