An accurately 3D-printed resin set in 1:48 scale containing four American AIM-4D Falcon air-to-air guided missiles. The printing captures the fine detail of the body, the fins and the stabilizers considerably more sharply than injection-molded plastic and makes for markedly more faithful armament on a fighter model.
The AIM-4 Falcon was the first American air-to-air guided missile to enter series service. The AIM-4D version with infrared guidance was intended for combat against maneuvering targets and was carried by a range of American fighters of the Cold War. The missile was marked by its characteristic delta fins and slender body.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and wash the residue off. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The missiles are usually finished in white or light gray with richly colored bands on the guidance and warhead sections; the fine lettering can be suggested with a decal. You hang them on the matching pylons of the model.
