Tiny colored Quinta parts that stand in on a model for the sensors of the AN/AAR-47 system. The system watches the surroundings of the machine and warns the crew of an approaching guided missile. The sensors take the form of small heads with an optical window and tend to be distributed around the fuselage so that together they cover the surroundings of the aircraft.
The parts are not tied to one particular kit. The position and the number of sensors differ from machine to machine, so compare them with a photograph of the real subject or with the kit instructions before applying them. The set is most useful where a kit offers only an indistinct bump or where the sensor is missing altogether.
The application procedure differs between the individual Quinta lines, so follow the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set before you start. The surface under the part must be smooth, clean and degreased, otherwise the edge will lift in time. Transfer the parts with tweezers with a soft grip and press them down with a cotton swab, not with a fingernail.
The package contains only the parts for the sensors. The kit, paints and varnish are not included, unless stated otherwise.
