It is NOT a model of an aircraft but an extensive detail accessory — thin 3D-printed and pre-colored parts on backing decal paper that take the place of hand painting and of colored photo-etch. The set is intended for the large plastic kit of the four-engine bomber B-17F from HK Models and can be used with Eduard parts in 1:48 scale as well. Given the extent of a bomber interior it is a large set covering several parts of the fuselage.

The B-17F Flying Fortress was an American heavy four-engine bomber of the Second World War, deployed above all on daylight raids over Europe. It became famous for its rugged structure and its strong defensive armament.

Use and tips

• The individual parts are released in water like a decal, but they are thicker — fixing them with a drop of glue is recommended.
• They are applied to clean, smooth interior surfaces of a separately purchased kit.
