This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the IAI Kfir fighter in the C-2 and C-7 versions in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing accessory that replaces the wheels supplied in the plastic kit with more accurate castings with finer relief on both the tire and the hub.
The castings capture the characteristic tread pattern and the tire sidewalls as well as the layout of the wheel hubs. The wheels look as though they carry the weight of the aircraft, with a slightly flattened contact patch, which on a standing model looks more realistic than perfectly round plastic parts. The set is intended for use with the usual plastic Kfir kits in this scale.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for bonding, not ordinary cement for plastic. Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting.
This is an add-on set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
