Conquerors of Europe's Sky is a set of three plastic kits of Allied aircraft of the Second World War in 1:48 scale from ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package brings together three separate injection-molded plastic kits of Allied aircraft in 1:48 scale: the medium bomber B-26 Marauder, the P-51D Mustang fighter and the British Spitfire Mk.XVI. Decals are enclosed for each aircraft. All the models are built from individual plastic parts and are supplied unpainted.
The set brings together three icons of Allied aviation over Europe. The B-26 Marauder was a fast American twin-engine medium bomber, the P-51D Mustang an escort fighter with long range and a bubble canopy, and the Spitfire Mk.XVI a late version of the legendary British fighter with a Merlin engine built under license in the United States. Together they represent Allied air superiority in the closing stage of the war.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and mask and paint the cockpit glazing separately. The natural metal finish of the Mustang and the Marauder comes out with metallic paints on a smooth base, while the Spitfire deserves a finely sprayed RAF camouflage. Apply a gloss coat before the decals so that they do not silver, and even the surface out at the end.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
