Mobile Police Patlabor AV-98 Ingram 2nd 1:43 is a plastic kit of the robotic machine from the anime Patlabor by Aoshima.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Aoshima captures the police robotic machine AV-98 Ingram (second unit) from the world of Mobile Police Patlabor in 1:43 scale. The parts are molded in color and snap together, so the model can be built without glue. The shape and the proportions follow a reworked design with well-developed detail.
The AV-98 Ingram is a fictional Labor-class working robot deployed by the police in the world of Patlabor. The machine is operated by a pilot in a cabin in its torso and in the story it is used against misused industrial robots. The second unit is one of the iconic machines of the series.
The articulated design and the opening covers allow dynamic poses and let the cabin be set open. The model can be built out of the box, while more experienced builders can clean up the joints, add shading and pick out the panels so that the detail stands out. The armament of the machine is usually included to fill out a scene.
The parts are molded in color and snap-fit; glue and paints are not needed, unless stated otherwise.
