Dassault Mirage IIIC exhaust nozzle 1:48 (Reskit) is a resin detail set that replaces the plastic engine nozzle with a faithful copy including the inner and outer structure for Mirage IIIC models.

This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory made of modeling resin. The set replaces the simplified plastic nozzle of the Atar engine with a separately cast part that faithfully captures the profile of the petals, the inner walls of the combustion chamber and the outer ribbing of the rear fuselage. Intended for Mirage IIIC models in 1:48 scale.
The Mirage IIIC was the first production fighter of the Mirage III family, powered by the SNECMA Atar 09 turbojet. The characteristic nozzle with adjustable petals is one of the most striking features of the tail and tends to be simplified in plastic, which the resin replacement solves.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut them carefully from the casting blocks and line them up with the rear fuselage. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The inside of the nozzle comes out well with a dark shade and dry weathering in burnt metal tones.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
