About product

F-14D mask set 1:48

A die-cut masking set from Eduard in 1:48 scale for the F-14D fighter. It is not an aircraft model and it is not decals, but a set of self-adhesive masks that make a clean painting of the canopy glazing and of other surfaces easier. The masks are cut precisely and it is enough to transfer them from the backing onto the model.

What the set contains

  • Masks for the framing of the canopy glazing.
  • Masks for the landing gear wheels and further small surfaces.
  • Precise die-cut shapes ready for immediate use.

How to use the masks

  • Degrease the surface and transfer the masks onto clean, dry glazing.
  • Press the edges down carefully so that the paint does not run under the mask.
  • Spray the paint on and remove the mask while the finish is still fresh or has only just flashed off.

Who the set is for

For modelers of the F-14D fighter in 1:48 scale who want sharp transitions of color on the canopy without lengthy hand masking with tape. Suitable for less experienced builders as well.

The masks are intended for single use. Remove the paint gently so that the glazing is not damaged.
