Eduard F/A-18B/D masks 1:48 are die-cut masking templates for the glazing of the two-seat F/A-18B and F/A-18D Hornet fighters.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT an airplane model but a set of precisely die-cut masking templates of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale. The masks are intended for the elongated glazing of the two-seat versions of the Hornet fighter, that is, the F/A-18B and the F/A-18D. The self-adhesive templates copy the canopy frames exactly and make it possible to spray the frames of the glazing cleanly without lengthy masking with tape.
The F/A-18B and the F/A-18D are two-seat versions of the American carrier-based multirole fighter aircraft Hornet. The B version served above all for training, and the D version also for combat tasks including night and strike missions. The tandem arrangement of the two seats lengthens the glazing of the canopy.
Clean the glazing, transfer the masks carefully and press them into the corners of the frames. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin layers, so that it does not run under the edge of the mask. We recommend spraying the interior color of the cockpit first and the exterior camouflage afterward.
This is a set of masking templates, not a model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
