Peewit 1:48 Fabric is a set of wet decals that convincingly imitate the covering fabric of the doped surfaces of aircraft on a model.

A set of wet decals in 1:48 scale from Peewit. The decals reproduce the structure and color cast of period covering fabric of the kind that the wings, control surfaces and parts of the fuselage of many older aircraft had. Applied to the surface of a model they give a fine rendering of the cloth and the ribbing, which would be hard to achieve by hand painting.
Fabric covering had a characteristic structure and shade that differs from metal surfaces. These decals make it possible to set the fabric parts of a model apart convincingly, whether it is the whole covering or only the elevators, the rudder and the ailerons. The Fabric variant aims at the typical cast of period cloth.
This is a set of decals, not a model. The base kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
