This is a resin correction set, not a standalone aircraft model. The set from Special Hobby in 1:48 scale holds a more accurate replacement propeller for the plastic kit of the British Fairey Barracuda carrier bomber from Trumpeter. Correction sets of this type replace a part whose shape in the base kit does not match the real aircraft closely enough - here a propeller with more faithful blade shapes. To use it you need the base Barracuda kit from Trumpeter, which is not included in the package.
The set serves to correct and sharpen the propeller of the model. It replaces the original plastic part of the base kit with a more faithfully shaped resin propeller, which improves the overall look and accuracy of the finished model.
First wash any mold release residue off the resin parts, then separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend applying a primer before painting.
