The real subject and what the part is for

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War with the air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine. It was one of the most feared opponents of Allied airmen and was built in large numbers. On the A-5 rendition the engine was moved forward, which solved the earlier trouble with cooling; the part faithfully captures the shape of the cowling as well as the routing of the exhausts of the BMW 801 engine.

Usage tips

• Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue
• Cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not hold on resin
• Pick the exhaust outlets out with a dark wash and a rusty brown shade
