1:48 Fw-190/Ta-152 (Late version) Type 1 wheels set

Reskit Fw-190 / Ta-152 (late version): Type 1 replacement wheels (1:48)

This is not an airplane model but a resin detail accessory: a set of Type 1 pattern replacement landing gear wheels for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and Ta-152 in their late versions, 1:48 scale. It replaces the wheels from the original kit with more accurate resin parts with a finely cast tread and hub. The Type 1 designation refers to the particular tire pattern used on late machines of this family.

Fitting and use

• First wash the parts to remove mold release residue and let them dry.
• Separate the wheels carefully from the casting blocks (by cutting) and sand the cut surfaces.
• Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate): cement for plastic does not hold on resin.
• Protect your airways when sanding and cutting (a respirator) and ventilate the room.
• Apply a primer before painting for better paint adhesion.

Who the accessory is for

• Modelers building late-version Fw-190 or Ta-152 aircraft in 1:48 scale.
• Those who want a realistic landing gear with the accurate Type 1 wheel pattern.
• Collectors who appreciate the quality of resin castings over the out-of-the-box parts.

The accessory is supplied as unglued and unpainted resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
