This set is NOT an aircraft model but a 3D-printed accessory for a plastic kit of the General Dynamics F-111A/E tactical bomber in 1:72 scale. It replaces the original cockpit with a detailed 3D-printed one, rounded out with colored three-dimensional decals that copy the instrument panels and the side consoles faithfully. The set is meant for experienced modelers.
The F-111 had its crew side by side in a two-seat cockpit, and the interior shows well under the opened canopy. 3D-printed seats, panels and side consoles together with the layered three-dimensional decals give the cockpit a depth and a readability of the instruments that plastic cannot reach in this small scale.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts and cut away the print supports, then glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply the three-dimensional decals onto a smooth surface, ideally one coated with a matte varnish. Before you close the fuselage, check that the cockpit drops comfortably into the kit.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
