A set of 3D-printed guns for the Do 217K in 1:48 scale from 3DF, a detail accessory for the ICM plastic kit, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. It contains 3D-printed gun barrels and armament for the German Dornier Do 217 bomber, K version, in 1:48 scale, cut for the plastic kit from ICM. Direct 3D printing allows very fine, accurate rendering of the muzzles and other details that injection-molded plastic cannot capture as sharply.
The Dornier Do 217 was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, a larger and more powerful successor to the Do 17 series. The Do 217K version had a redesigned, fully glazed nose. Accurate armament is one of the details that most affects the overall impression of bomber models.
Carefully separate the 3D-printed parts from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue) and protect your airways when sanding. Apply a primer before painting; the thin gun barrels are delicate, so handle them carefully right up to final assembly.
An accessory for the plastic kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
