This is not an aircraft model but a separate detail accessory. It contains resin parts of the control column and of the compass detail for models of the British twin-engine bomber Handley Page HP.52 Hampden B.Mk.I in 1:48 scale. It replaces and completes the simplified elements of the cockpit.
The control column and the instruments are prominent elements of a cockpit that injection-molded plastic usually renders only roughly. The resin parts bring fine relief and faithful shapes, so that once painted the interior looks realistic even under the glazing.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer and accenting of the details with a dark wash and a dry brush are recommended.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
