This is a resin detail set, not a helicopter kit. It brings a detailed cabin interior for a plastic model of the Hughes MD-500D light helicopter in 1:48 scale, with the emphasis on the police and civilian form. It reveals a richly fitted space under the large glazing of the cabin.
The Hughes 500D (later the MD 500D) is a light multipurpose helicopter with a characteristic egg-shaped cabin and a five-blade rotor. In civilian as well as police service it is used for patrolling, communication, carrying people and observation from the air.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint and seat the interior before closing up the fuselage, because it is clearly visible under the glazing. Finish the seats, the instrument panel and the upholstery with shades and a fine wash, and mask the glazing with an accurate mask.
The set is an accessory for a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
