The set contains resin protective periscope guards for models of the American M4 Sherman medium tank in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a refining accessory that replaces the missing or simplified protective frames over the turret and hull periscopes with faithful castings.
The periscopes of the Sherman were covered by welded metal frames that protected them from hits and fragments. These small but prominent elements raise the fidelity of a model and are clearly visible on the upper surface of the tank.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut them carefully off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Because of the small dimensions we recommend working with tweezers; protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without a model, paints and glue. Intended for models of the Sherman tank in 1:48 scale.
