Eduard 1:48 MiG-21PFM grey LööKplus is an add-on set from the LööKplus range for a model in 1:48 scale, in the variant matching the gray finish of the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not an aircraft kit but an add-on set. It belongs to the LööKplus range, that is to the combined packages that bring several detail parts for the cockpit together in one box. The word grey in the name refers to the color finish of the cockpit: for this subject there are parallel variants for gray panels and for differently painted ones, so you need to pick the one that matches the build you are planning. The composition of the package and the number of parts are stated on the box of the set.
The MiG-21PFM is one of the versions of this widespread supersonic delta-wing fighter. Among other things it differed from the earlier variants in the design of the canopy, which hinges to the side, and in the related changes to the forward fuselage. The cockpit of these machines is fairly well visible, so on a model the investment in detail there really shows.
Dry-fit the set against the kit before building: with resin and printed parts a portion of the original plastic often has to be cut away. Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears, otherwise paint will not hold on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, do not snap them. They are bonded with super glue. Pre-painted elements are not repainted, only the sheen is evened out if needed. Finish and install the whole interior before you close the fuselage, because afterwards you will not reach it.
The set is supplied on its own, without a kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package. Please check the contents of the package before buying.
