A pilot of the Mirage 2000C and 2000-5 in the French form, seated in an MB Mk.10Q ejection seat, type 1, 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure is modeled seated, that is so that it can be placed into an ejection seat inside a cockpit. The name designates the MB Mk.10Q seat, which is the type used on the Mirage 2000. The note about the country in the name distinguishes the individual forms of the range from one another; the manufacturer offers several national variants of the same pose in parallel.
The Mirage 2000 is a single-engine combat aircraft with a characteristic delta wing from Dassault of France. The 2000C version is single-seat and entered service in the mid-1980s; the later 2000-5 brought upgraded avionics and a reworked pilot's workspace. In France, where the type comes from, it served for several decades and became the basis for export deliveries to other countries.
Seated figures have one pitfall: once the canopy is closed nothing of them is visible unless you watch the seating height. Try dry, therefore, how high the head reaches and adjust the support under the figure if need be. It pays to paint it before putting it into the cockpit, because afterward you will not get a brush inside. Keep the more saturated tones for the clothing, while giving the helmet and its visor a smooth glossy surface.
Neither a model of the machine nor the cockpit fittings are sold with the figure.
