This set from the Czech manufacturer Firma49 contains 3D-printed resin lights of the Notek type in 1:48 scale. These were the standard blackout and convoy lights of the German army in the Second World War, fitted to armored and truck vehicles alike. The set includes the front Notek lights and the rear convoy lights. It is not a kit but a fine accessory for superdetailing models.
The lights replace the coarse plastic parts from a kit and give a vehicle a faithful period look. The front Notek is typically fitted on the left fender and the rear convoy lights at the back of the vehicle.
Cut the small parts carefully from the supports and wash off any uncured resin. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. The bodies are usually painted in the base color of the vehicle, and the lenses can be suggested with clear varnishes.
The set contains resin accessories only. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
