This is NOT an airplane model but an Eduard Big Ed package that brings several separate sets together in one box for a model of the P-400 Airacobra fighter in 1:48 scale. The aim is to take the base kit to a markedly higher level of detail without hunting the sets down one by one.
The package typically holds photo-etched landing flaps, further photo-etched elements for the airframe and steel seat belts for the cockpit. The combination of these sets covers the exterior as well as the interior and noticeably raises the realism of the finished model.
The steel belts are easy to shape realistically over the seat thanks to how pliable they are. Bond the photo-etched flaps and elements with spot applications of super glue and make the larger bends in a bending tool. Fit the interior parts before the fuselage is closed. The package is intended for a particular P-400 kit in this scale.
This is an accessory package, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
