A detail set from the SPACE line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for the cockpit of a model of the Czechoslovak Zlin Z-326 Trener Master training and aerobatic aircraft. The set brings together color three-dimensional 3D decals of the instrument panel and the side consoles with steel photo-etched parts, typically seat belts and small cockpit details.
Layered 3D decals replace flat decals and offer real depth as well as pre-printed color on the instruments. The modeler therefore gains a noticeably more convincing interior without laborious hand painting. The set is designed for a model of the Zlin Z-326 in the matching scale.
Clean and degrease the surface before applying them. Slide the 3D decals off the backing like a waterslide decal and press them gently into place. Leave the decal softener aside, as it attacks the printed resin of the decal. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, form them over an edge and bond them with super glue. Let each layer dry thoroughly.
