Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British light cruiser HMS Belfast in her 1942 form, in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter. The package contains the hull with the decks, a photo-etched part and a stand with a name plate; the decks have a finely engraved planking texture.
The Belfast was one of the largest and most heavily armed cruisers of the Royal Navy of her day. After repair and modernization she returned to service at the end of 1942, covered the Arctic convoys to the Soviet Union and in December 1943 played a key role in the Battle of the North Cape, where she took part in sinking the German battleship Scharnhorst.
Decide whether you will build the full hull or the waterline version on a stand. Glue the photo-etched railings and fine parts with super glue. The decks and superstructures stand out with the detail brought up by washes; for wartime camouflage an airbrush and a matte varnish work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
