The box contains six miniature plastic models of the CH-46E Sea Knight transport helicopter in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. It is not a standalone kit of one machine but an accessory for large ship models, dioramas and display cases. The small parts are injection-molded in plastic and, once glued and painted, they complete the aviation complement of a deck.
The CH-46E Sea Knight is an American multirole transport helicopter with a pair of tandem main rotors. For many years it served with the Marine Corps and the Navy carrying troops and cargo, among other things from the decks of amphibious ships.
The parts are very small, so work with tweezers and a sharp knife. Glue them with thin cement for plastic or a small drop of super glue. Lay down a primer before painting and paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush; the rotor blades can be added right at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
