This is an accessory for building plastic models in 1:700 scale, not a stand-alone model. The package contains ten turned metal barrels of 120 mm caliber, typical of the guns of the Royal Navy, destroyers above all. The manufacturer is the Polish brand Aber.
The metal barrels replace the plastic parts from a kit. The parting seam and the coarseness of plastic fall away, and the muzzle is accurate and concentric. Ten pieces cover the armament of a whole vessel or serve for several smaller models.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole in the remaining part and glue the metal barrel in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a primer.
This is a detail accessory, not a ship model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
