A detailed resin set with photo-etched parts for showing the extended landing flaps of the Alenia C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft in 1:72 scale from LACI. The set is made for the C-27J kit from Italeri and replaces the original retracted flaps with a faithful configuration in the extended position. It is not a standalone aircraft model but an accessory that raises realism.
The Alenia C-27J Spartan is a twin-engine turboprop tactical transport aircraft able to operate from short, unprepared strips. Its extensive wing high-lift devices allow a slow, steep approach; fully extended flaps are characteristic of that phase of flight.
Wash the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue both the photo-etched and the resin parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply primer before painting and take care over an accurate fit with the wing of the base kit.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
