Three-dimensional decals of the interior equipment for a model of the B-25J medium bomber in 1:72 scale. The print covers the instrument panel, the consoles and the seat belts in full color. The name of the set ties it to the kit from the Eduard brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The North American B-25J was the most numerous version of the Mitchell and over 4000 of them were built. It existed in two completely different forms: with a glazed nose for bombing from altitude and with a solid nose packed with machine guns for attacks at sea level. It was the second variant that became famous over Japanese convoys, where the crews attacked from a height of a few meters. The twin vertical tail surfaces and the robust structure made the Mitchell one of the best-liked machines of American aviation.
The interior of the Mitchell is not one cockpit but several separate stations linked by a narrow tunnel. The pilot's compartment, the bombardier's station and the radio operator's corner each have equipment of their own, and all of them are partly visible through the glazing. Painting by hand means repeating the same demanding operation three times here, each time in a different position and often in a fuselage that is already half closed. The set removes this most time-consuming stretch of the build and at the same time keeps one uniform shade across the individual compartments.
It is best to work part by part, starting from the least accessible places. The kit and tools are not included in the package.
