The diorama battle set Bastogne Siege 80 Years (Battle Set) in 1:72 scale from Italeri — a building, figures and hardware for building a scene from the fighting for Bastogne.
Responsibility details are not available.
A diorama Battle Set from Italeri in 1:72 scale, released for the 80th anniversary of the Siege of Bastogne. It is not a single model — it is a complete scene in one package, in which you get a laser-cut building (a ruined corner house in MDF board), a set of battlefield accessories, dozens of infantry figures from both sides in winter uniforms and a pair of tanks. Together they make it possible to build an impressive winter diorama from the Ardennes of 1944.
First assemble and paint the hardware and the building, and only then compose the scene and place the figures. A light, cool palette, snow-covered surfaces, mud and traces of fighting will support the winter atmosphere. Paint the figures separately and work them into the action; bring the tanks to life with a wash, wear and discreet weathering. It is best to coat the MDF building with primer before painting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
