Omask 1:72 Bloch 210 – glazing painting mask

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for painting the cockpit frames and the clear parts of a model of the French Bloch MB.210 bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a painting aid that makes masking more accurate and quicker when the glazing is sprayed.

The real subject

The Bloch MB.210 was a French twin-engine bomber of the mid-1930s with retractable landing gear and a low-wing layout. In its day it was among the modern machines of the French Air Force and it also took part, on a limited scale, in the beginning of the Second World War.

Use

• Apply the masks to clean, degreased glazing and press the edges down.
• Spray the frames first in the interior color, then in the top shade of the airframe.
• Once the paint has dried, remove the masks carefully and the edges will stay sharp.
• The flexible material follows the shape of the glazing without the edges lifting.

Who it is for

For modelers who want clean cockpit frames without laborious cutting of tape, especially on the intricate glazing of prewar machines.

The mask contains no paint or glue; it serves only for masking during spraying. The model, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
