Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet carrier-borne fighter and attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from the firm Hasegawa, in the striking blue and yellow scheme of the American Blue Angels display team. The model is molded in plastic, with clear glazing parts and decals, and it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Blue Angels are the official display team of the US Navy, which for many years flew single-seat Hornets. The machines carry a striking blue and yellow combination and at displays fly routines in tight formation. The subject of the model is precisely this display machine, not the combat version with its armament.
The key to a faithful model is a smooth, glossy surface. We recommend a good primer, a deep blue coat from an airbrush and a final gloss clear coat, on which the decals will settle well. Apply the extensive decals patiently and use a decal softener so that they settle over the transitions and the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
