A display base from Red Fox Studio for models in 1:72 scale. The subject is a concrete surface of square panels in the Type 1 variant, measuring 250 x 160 mm. The surface is finished in color with a three-dimensional textured effect and is ready for displaying a model.

Material and workmanship

The base is a light board of extruded PVC roughly 5 mm thick with a pre-printed surface with a satin sheen that resists UV light. The square division of the concrete forms a regular grid of slabs and so differs from the rectangular variant.

Use and finishing

• Just place the model on the base and the scene is ready for display
• The board can be trimmed to the size or shape you need
• The surface can be painted over and weathered with acrylic as well as enamel paints
• For a realistic result an overspray of matte varnish is recommended
