An add-on set for a model of the French Dassault Super Mystere fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Dassault Super Mystere is a French single-seat fighter from the second half of the 1950s. It was among the first series-built Western European aircraft able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight, and its recognition features are the swept wing and the oval air intake in the nose. It stayed in service for a long time, with a number of operators even after more modern machines had replaced it at home.
An add-on set for the Super Mystere model in 1:72 scale, made up of resin and plastic parts. Accessories of this kind replace or add parts that the kit renders in simplified form, and take the model further than series plastic can reach. Which parts the set contains and where on the model they belong is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and degrease them so that the paint will hold. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand the rest down, taking care not to touch the shape of the part itself; cutting close removes more than intended. Test-fit each part dry on the model and adjust the mating surfaces as needed. For gluing, reach for cyanoacrylate glue, which holds on resin as well as on plastic, and degrease the joint beforehand. Small parts are worth priming before painting.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
