Color three-dimensional Kelik interior elements for the Grumman F9F-2 Panther carrier fighter in 1:72 scale, laid out for the HobbyBoss kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman F9F-2 Panther was an American single-seat carrier fighter with a straight wing and tip tanks. It was among the first jets the US Navy operated from carrier decks, and it flew a considerable share of the combat sorties of the Korean War. Its cabin sits high and is clearly visible on a model with the canopy open.
The set brings color three-dimensional elements of the cockpit: the instrument panel with its dials, the side consoles, the seat with its restraint belts and small controls. The individual elements have a thickness of their own, so on a finished model they stand above the surface and the interior looks three-dimensional. The layout matches the HobbyBoss kit in 1:72 scale.
The application procedure differs between ranges, so follow the instructions from Kelik. Clear the surfaces in the cabin of burrs and unevenness so that an element seats without ripples, and degrease them before work. Move the elements with tweezers, seat them in place and press them down with a soft cotton bud from the center to the edges.
The set suits anyone who wants a legible cabin without painting dials with a brush. In 1:72 scale it is the fastest way to get legible instruments into an interior, even for a modeler who is only starting out with accessories. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
