A set of injection-molded plastic figures of German infantry from the late phase of the Second World War in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The box contains a large number of figures in many poses and serves as a figure accessory for dioramas and battle scenes in the small scale.
The figures depict German soldiers in late war equipment, and the theme is the advance through the Ardennes in Belgium in December 1944. They wear camouflage clothing and carry the weapons of the period, such as assault rifles, submachine guns and machine guns. The varied poses cover the attack, firing and movement. The treatment is matter-of-fact and historically set in the closing stage of the war.
Separate the small parts carefully from the sprues and clean up the seams. Brush painting with a base color and a wash in the folds works well. Suggest the camouflage patterns by stippling and apply the skin in two layers. Snow and mud can be added with pigment, and finish with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
