It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels of the base kit. The Type 2 rendering matches a particular hub type and tire pattern; the tires have a suggested sag under the weight of the machine.
The castings capture the fine tread and the structure of the hub of the main landing gear and serve as a direct replacement for the plastic wheels. The sturdy landing gear of these machines with a weighted stance improves the overall impression of a finished model markedly.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; airbrush the tires and the hubs and add a pigment patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
