An injection-molded plastic model of the Japanese self-propelled tank destroyer Type 60 in 1:72 scale from the Japanese brand Aoshima. The package contains two complete models of this small combat vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF). They are small but finely detailed kits, ideal for building a pair of vehicles for a display case or a diorama.
The Type 60 was a Japanese self-propelled tank destroyer developed at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. Its main armament consisted of a pair of 106 mm recoilless guns mounted on a low tracked chassis; thanks to its small dimensions and low silhouette it concealed itself well and ambushed enemy armored vehicles. The vehicle had a small crew and served with the JGSDF for several decades before it was withdrawn.
Separate the small parts from the sprues carefully and clean them up. Glue the plastic with modeling cement for plastic; assemble and paint the running gear before finishing. Apply a primer before painting, then spray thin coats with an airbrush. The vehicle will be brought to life by fine shading, washes into the recesses and light dust effects on the running gear. The pair of models suits the creation of a small scene.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
