About product

Reskit 1:32 R-73 missiles (4 pcs)

A set of four 3D-printed resin R-73 air-to-air missiles in 1:32 scale from Reskit. This is add-on armament for models of the modern MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters, not an aircraft kit. The 3D printing gives sharp detail and clean edges on the control surfaces that injection-molded plastic cannot reach.

The real subject

The R-73 is a modern infrared-guided short-range air-to-air missile famous for its high agility. It belongs to the typical armament of the MiG-29 and Su-27 generation of fighters.

Usage tips

Wash the uncured print resin residue off the resin parts and cut them carefully from the print supports. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect the fine control surfaces while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, paint the missile bodies to the scheme you have chosen and fit them onto the pylons of the model.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building modern fighters in the large 1:32 scale
  • Builders who want faithful external stores
  • More experienced modelers used to resin

This is an add-on armament set, not an aircraft model. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
