Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for a model of the German Junkers Ju 88 A-4 bomber. It is made by the Polish firm Techmod under part number 72111 and printed by offset; the sheet is listed as a new release for 2006. It is not a kit — the decals add to or replace the sheet from a plastic kit. The list of marking options is not stated here; check it on the box.
The Ju 88 was the most versatile German twin-engine combat aircraft of World War II. The A-4 version became the main bomber form of the type: it received a longer wing of greater span, strengthened landing gear and Junkers Jumo 211J engines with the option of water-methanol injection. The machine was built for dive as well as level bombing and carried its bombs in a fuselage bay and on external pylons. Besides the Luftwaffe it was used by Germany's allies, the Finnish Air Force among them, and it served on every front.
Lay a gloss coat over the matte camouflage under the decals, otherwise the film edge will remain noticeable. Cut the designs out one at a time, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto the model. Settle the large fuselage codes and the wing markings with a decal softener; on convex surfaces it helps to wet the decal a second time and press it down with a brush. Finally, seal everything with a matte coat.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
