A resin set of replacement wheels from Reskit for models of the Kamov Ka-27, Ka-29 and Ka-32 helicopters in 1:72 scale. This is not a helicopter kit but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic landing gear wheels from the box with more faithfully rendered parts with a sharper tire tread and hub detail.
The Kamov Ka-27 (NATO reporting name Helix) is a Soviet and Russian shipborne helicopter with its characteristic pair of contra-rotating main rotors and no tail rotor. It is used in the antisubmarine and rescue roles; the related Ka-29 and Ka-32 serve in transport and combat support tasks.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash them to remove mold release residue and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tire and the hub separately for easier masking. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
