A set of colored three-dimensional interior elements for the Me 410 A-1 and B-1 in 1:72 scale, intended for the Fine Molds kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Me 410 was a German twin-engined two-seat machine that followed the unsuccessful Me 210 and shed its worst flying qualities. The crew consisted of the pilot and a second man seated behind him, so the cockpit is long and can be seen into well when building a model. The designations A-1 and B-1 belong to two versions of this family.
The set replaces flat or merely suggested interior detail with colored elements that have real thickness: the instrument panel with legible dials, the side panels, the seats with harnesses and the rest of the cockpit equipment. The colors and lettering are already printed, so coloring tiny dials and dry brushing fall away. The set is prepared for the kit from Fine Molds.
The elements are seated on the cockpit parts before the fuselage is glued together, because afterwards you cannot get inside. The surface should be smooth, clean and degreased. The method of application differs between ranges, so check it in the manufacturer's instructions beforehand. It is a good idea to sand the original molded detail off the parts first, so that the new element seats over its whole area.
The set suits modelers who want a convincing cockpit in a small scale without painting tiny instruments. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
