This 3D-printed resin accessory from Reskit replaces the exhaust nozzle of the engine on models of the French Mirage 2000 fighter in 1:72 scale. The part is tuned to a particular line of plastic models of this type. It is not a complete aircraft kit but a separate replacement part that raises the fidelity of the rear end of the model. The accessory is intended for Dream Model kits.
The Mirage 2000 is a single-engine delta-wing fighter of French manufacture. The finely segmented exhaust nozzle with its petals is one of the aircraft's striking recognition features and on a model it is often simplified. 3D printing makes it possible to reproduce the fine petals and the inner structure, which are hard to cast in plastic.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the part, separate it from the print supports and glue it with super glue. The inside of the nozzle benefits from shades of heat-discolored metal and touches of tempera or pigments. Sand with respiratory protection.
This is an accessory part, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
