A 3D printed resin set of three RPL 701 drop tanks of 1250 liters in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for models of the French Dassault Rafale multi-role fighter. The tanks extend the range of carried stores and raise the fidelity of a typical configuration of the machine.
The RPL 701 drop tanks are among the smaller carried tanks of the Rafale and are usually carried on the centerline as well as the underwing pylons. They extend the range and are a frequent part of the aircraft's operational fits.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean them up and fit them onto the pylons. Bond with cyanoacrylate (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. Paint the tanks to match the rest of the airframe and add the appropriate markings.
The set contains the tanks only; paints, glue and the model itself are not included.
