A resin, 3D printed detail set from Reskit in 1:72 scale. The package contains two Soviet heavy unguided air-to-ground rockets S-25-O together with the launch tube. It is not an aircraft kit but an external stores accessory with a faithful shape of the rocket body and of the nozzle.

The real subject

The S-25 is a Soviet heavy unguided aircraft rocket of large caliber meant for attacks on ground targets; the version with a fragmentation warhead strikes area and lightly covered targets. It is carried in a single-round launch tube under the wings of combat aircraft and helicopters such as the Su-17, the Su-24, the Su-25, the MiG-27 and the Mi-24 attack helicopter.

Building and painting tips

Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, cut off the print supports and sand them with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and bring the surface out with a wash.
