An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian combat aircraft Sukhoi Su-34 (NATO reporting name Fullback) in 1:72 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. The same tool also builds the naval export Su-32FN version. The model offers a broken-down surface, a glazed cockpit with an instrument panel and decals for several color schemes. Check the actual contents of the box and the number of schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Su-34 is a twin-engine, two-seat multirole ground attack aircraft derived from the design of the Su-27 fighter. The crew sit side by side in a roomy armored cockpit, and the machine handles attacks on ground and naval targets as well as battlefield interdiction. The flattened nose and the long tail sting are typical. The export Su-32FN version was offered as a naval strike aircraft.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Glue the cockpit glazing carefully with an adhesive for canopies so that the plastic does not fog; paint the cockpit interior before closing the fuselage. Add the external stores and the drop tanks on the racks according to the scheme you choose. After laying on a gloss coat and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
