About product

U.S. Letters and Numbers Black 1:72 (Techmod)

This sheet of waterslide decals from the manufacturer Techmod brings a complete alphabet and numerals in black for American aircraft. The characters are printed in six heights corresponding to the inch sizes 6, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 inches, so they cover the usual fuselage codes as well as smaller stencils.

What the sheet contains

Black letters and numerals in six heights on a single sheet. From them you can put together any fuselage codes, serial numbers and tactical markings. The decals have accurate registration and a thin carrier film.

Use

Cut the characters out close to the motif and dip them briefly in lukewarm water.
Apply onto gloss varnish so that no silvering occurs under the film.
A softener helps them settle; overcoat with the final varnish at the end.

Who the set is for

Builders putting together their own fuselage codes for American aircraft.
Modelers whose base kit lacks a particular size of character.
Anyone after historically accurate markings in 1:72.

This is a stand-alone sheet of decals, not a kit. Paints, varnish and glue are not included.
