The KAB-1500S guided bomb in 1:72 is a 3D-printed armament set for models of Soviet and Russian aircraft. It adds to the stores of a finished kit; an airplane model it is not.

An add-on set in 1:72 scale from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models. The contents are a corrected bomb of the 1500 kg weight class in the satellite-guided version, printed from photopolymer. The set is meant to be hung under a finished model and does not replace the aircraft itself.
The KAB-1500S is the version of the corrected bomb of the 1500 kilogram class that guides on a satellite signal. The coordinates of the target are entered before release, so the carrier does not have to track or illuminate the target and the weapon copes even with reduced visibility. It is the Russian counterpart of Western satellite-guided bombs and is used by tactical bombers and multirole aircraft.
The parts are printed from photopolymer, so thin print supports are left on them. Cut them away with a sharp scalpel or photo-etch nippers and sand the pad they leave with fine abrasive paper. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, that is with super glue, because polystyrene cement has no effect on this material. Lay down a filler primer before painting; it will at the same time reveal any remains of the supports. Sanding is best done wet and with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
