AFV Fantasy Leather Brown

Vallejo AFV Fantasy Leather Brown, aerosol spray

A paint in an aerosol can from the spray line of the Vallejo brand. It is not a bottle for an airbrush and not a brush paint but a spray ready for immediate use. The Leather Brown shade is a warm leather brown tone that Vallejo also carries under the same name in its bottled lines. The part of this spray line marked Fantasy is aimed more at figures, gaming models and fantasy subjects than at period-accurate camouflage finishes for military equipment. The volume of the package is given on the can.

Use

• Shake the contents thoroughly so that the pigment is evenly mixed
• Apply several thin coats from a distance of roughly twenty to thirty centimeters
• Degrease the surface; on smooth surfaces a primer coat pays off
• Suitable as a base tone for leather, wood, straps, bags or brown coats
• Work in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors or in an extracted booth
• After use, clear the nozzle with a short burst with the can upside down

Who it is for

Modelers of figures and gaming models who need to lay a darker brown base quickly on a larger number of pieces at once will reach for it. It also serves well where diorama bases or wooden elements of scenery are being built. Anyone who wants fine transitions and shading should lay only the base with the spray and finish the shades with a brush or an airbrush.

The aerosol can is under pressure and the contents are flammable. Do not spray into an open flame or onto hot surfaces, do not expose it to temperatures above fifty degrees and do not pierce the can or throw it into a fire. Make sure there is ventilation, protect your eyes and skin and keep it out of the reach of children.
